Historic Boutique Hotel
Hotel Troya Balat is a boutique hotel in Istanbul's Fener-Balat neighborhood, formed by merging four early 1900s houses. One side faces the Golden Horn, a natural harbor, while the other looks onto a quiet street near the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate. The 16 guestrooms feature original carved wooden ceilings and hand-painted walls from the early 20th century.
Rooms & Suites
Standard rooms have twin or French beds, with views of the sea or street. Each includes a minibar, LCD TV, and private bathroom with a separate shower. Suite rooms add a living area with a sofa bed-two suites overlook the Golden Horn, while others face the back street.
Dining at Barba Vasilis
Barba Vasilis Restaurant & Taverna serves traditional Turkish-Greek dishes with a view of the Golden Horn. Menu highlights include grilled calamari, mezes, and salads. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7:30 AM. Guests staying three nights or longer receive a welcome dinner.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Troya Balat. The vibrant neighborhood of Balat gave it a unique charm, and I loved the cozy room with its modern amenities. My stay at Troya Hotel Balat was fantastic. the location was perfect for exploring the Balat district and all of Istanbul. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities. I truly enjoyed the delicious breakfast options, which featured a variety of local products. I did wish for a few more entertainment options at the hotel, but overall it was a nice experience.
